Dominica Citizenship: New Prices from September 2012

Updated on Sept. 1, 2012: the new investment requirements are in force.

Last chance to apply for citizenship of Dominica on lower investment requirements expires on the 1st of September 2012.

On 17 July 2012 the government of Dominica in the person of the Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit announced adjustments to the Dominica Economic Citizenship Program.

The main purposes of the program review were strengthening of administrative procedures and encouragement of foreign investments in local opportunities.

One of the results was increase of investment fees qualifying investors for Dominica citizenship and passport. Part of these resources is designated for the Dominica local geothermal project.

New fees applicable from the 1st of September 2012

Package A – Single Applicant

Qualifying non-refundable investment of US$ 100,000

Package B – Family Application (main applicant and spouse)

Qualifying non-refundable investment of US$ 175,000

Package C – Family Application Two (main applicant, spouse, 2 children of minor age)

Qualifying non-refundable investment of US$ 200,000

Package D – Family Application Three (main applicant, spouse and more than 2 children of minor age)

Qualifying non-refundable investment of US$ 200,000, and US$ 50,000 for every additional person in the family application under 18 years.

Any family member who is 18 year old is to apply as a single investor.

Before the 1st of September you still can apply on the following conditions

Single Applicant – US$ 75,000

Family Application (main applicant, spouse and 2 children of minor age) – US$ 100,000 with additional donation US$ 15,000 required for each child who turned eighteen (18) but below twenty-one (21) and US$ 25,000 – for every additional child under twenty-one (21). Children above 21 must apply as single investors.

  • Dear Antony, we recommend that you initiate the process immediately and prepare all supporting documents to be filed with the citizenship unit by the 31st of August 2012.
